More on stopping the fraud

I talked to Sen. Peters’ office today about the fact that the Maryland Insurance Administration doesn’t perform criminal background checks on licensee applicants. They raised the question of what other licensing authorities should be, but aren’t, making sure that individuals with serious criminal backgrounds aren’t given  license to prey on vulnerable members of the public. I’ll follow up – as I know my client wants – and hopefully some good will come of it all.
